LARA LOGAN . . . .The rest of this horrid story.

What kind of men are these?
Lara Logan journalist went public this week with her story of horror, which took place in Tahrir Square last February as thousands of Egyptians celebrated the fall of Hosni Mubarak.
When the cameraman’s lights went dim the trouble began and one can hear Ms. Logan cry for help as she is dragged away from her crew. Someone yelled that she was a jew and that sent the crowd into an absolute frenzy. Although she clung tenaciously to one member of her crew, they were overpowered and she was ripped away and on her own in the dark with hundreds of frenzied men grabbing at her body and assaulting her body parts with their hands. Others pulled out their cell phones and took pictures of the assault.
As many as three hundred Egyptian men took turns ripping at her clothing until she was naked, then they beat at her with flag poles and took turns raping her every orifice with their hands. They ripped at her hair, pulling it as though to scalp her and yanked and pulled at her arms and legs.
At one point she just wanted it to end fearing that she was going to die a slow, painful death, but thinking of her two little children, she continued to fight, at least in her own mind. The assault went on for at least twenty five minutes until finally a group of women standing together in their black burkas reached out for her and one woman put her arms around Lara and the women closed ranks.
Some Egyptian soldiers finally took a stand and began to fight the crowd. One soldier picked up the naked, filthy, limp body of Lara Logan, put her over his shoulder and carried her to safety.
Although there were no broken bones, all her joints, arms, legs and scalp were sore and bruised and she sustained some internal injuries.
Most chilling was Ms. Logan’s recollection of how excited and frenzied the men became at seeing her absolute helplessness and desperation.
These are the men that the news media portrayed as young fellows just wanting freedom from oppression. You know, freedom fighters.

There is something wrong over there in that part of the world, even with how long she had to wait till someone helped her. Because of the recent McDonalds attack over here, I can't even say many Americans would have helped her right away and would rather have cowered in fear from the mob. I tell you one thing, if I was there I would have DROPPED EVERYTHING and helped that woman IMMEDIATELY regardless of the consequences, and I am glad to say all of my Christian friends and family would have done the same.
I don't know all the details so I'm glad to hear that they tried.
Thank you for this update. I'd wondered but hadn't tried yet to hunt it down.
